Hurricane IKE - Storm Debris will be collected by Harris County. Republic Waste is running their normal routes. Residents are asked to keep their storm debris and weekly household garbage and yard clippings separated. They will pick up all household garbage and 4 bags of weekly yard clippings but no storm debris. Additional information is available at www.rwstx.com

Memorial Chase Collection Guidelines
Trash Collection is at curbside on Monday & Thursday. Trash should be in containers not to exceed 35 gallon or in plastic trash bags. All branches and tree limbs must be cut into four (4') lengths and tied in small bundles that can be lifted and handled by a single person. Bundles should be no larger than eighteen inches (18") in diameter and weight to more than fifty (50) pounds.
In the event that one of the collection days falls on a holiday, collection will be on the next regularly scheduled collection day. Scheduled holidays will include: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. In the event of an "Act of God" collection will be made on the following scheduled collection day.
Republic Waste will collect and dispose of all residential refuse unless restricted by law or if items would cause damage to the collection equipment. Listed are some items that are restricted: cross ties, solvents, paints, petroleum products, pool chemicals, fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, hazardous material/chemicals, logs or stumps, car batteries, soil, rocks, concrete, medical waste, medical sharps and closed containers.
Refrigeration Units: Refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers or items that contain CFC's (freon), by law, must have the gas removed by a licensed technician and be red tagged prior to collection.
Heavy Trash: Appliances, hot water heaters, mattresses, heavy or large volumes of yard waste and other white goods, appropriate for disposal shall be placed within five feet of the curbside and will be collected on the second collection day of each week (Thursday).

Curbside Recycling Guidelines
Collection will be on Monday, please set your bin within five feet of your curbside by 7:00am to assure service.
Collection will include, newspaper, plastic, aluminum beverage cans, and bi-metal cans. Glass will not be collected.
MCCIA – Guidelines for weekly trash collection
A - Trash cans and recycling bins are to be stored out of view from the front of all residents. (Behind fences or in garages)
B – Trash should not be place out on the curbside more than 24 hours prior to normal collection.
C - Trash can and recycling bins should be pick up from the curbside as soon as possible after collection
